Remote Registered Dietitian (1099 Contractor)
Location: Remote (U.S.-based)
Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
Compensation: Competitive, per-encounter / hourly rates
Hours expected per Week: 10 hours/week, with up to 40 hours per week depending on the need.
Pay rate: USD $40-50 dollars per hour.
About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) to provide remote preventive nutrition counseling for adult patients with chronic and cardiometabolic conditions. This role is 100% remote and ideal for RDs looking for flexible scheduling while delivering high-impact, evidence-based care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide preventive nutrition counseling via telehealth for patients with:
Obesity
Hypertension (HTN)
Diabetes (Type 1, Type 2, Prediabetes)
Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)
Deliver individualized, patient-centered care plans focused on lifestyle modification and disease prevention
Document encounters clearly and accurately in a secure digital platform
Collaborate with care teams as needed to support continuity of care
Follow evidence-based clinical guidelines and telehealth best practices
Qualifications
Active Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential
Current U.S. state licensure where applicable
Experience in chronic disease management and preventive nutrition counseling preferred
Comfortable providing care via telehealth platforms
Strong communication and patient engagement skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
